Toilet Seat

A toilet seat is the hinged lid-and-ring assembly mounted on the toilet bowl, typically molded from PP plastic, urea, or MDF wood. It is sized to round or elongated bowls and fixed through two rear holes with top- or bottom-mount hinges, often including soft-close (damped) mechanisms.

⚠️ Note: Sizes are typical/indicative; confirm bowl dimensions and hole spacing against the specific fixture.

FAQ

How do I know if I need round or elongated?
Measure the bowl from the seat bolt holes to the front rim. Round bowls are roughly 420mm and elongated roughly 470mm; always measure the actual fixture before ordering.
What is soft-close?
Soft-close (slow-close) uses a damped hinge so the lid lowers gently instead of slamming. It reduces noise and wear but the mechanism must match the seat's mounting design.
