Compression Fittings

Compression fittings join pipe or tubing without heat or solvent by tightening a nut that compresses a ferrule (olive) onto the pipe to seal. They allow quick, reusable connections and are common for water supply, tubing, and appliance hookups.

⚠️ Note: Soft/plastic tubing usually requires a pipe insert to prevent collapse under the ferrule. Over-tightening can damage the ferrule and cause leaks; tighten per manufacturer guidance.
